OVERVIEW
I was born and raised on the island of Puerto Rico. As such, my earliest exposure to physics was related to astrophysics thanks to the Arecibo Observatory. This sparked in interest for experimental physics that expanded to include accelerator and high energy physics. I'm interested in how the world works at the smallest scales, and in the accelerators and detectors that help us understand it. I currently work with the Cryogenic Dark Matter Search (SuperCDMS) experiment, where I'm focused on the development and analysis of detector calibration and sensitivity projections for potential future experiments.
