Key distinction:
No academic credit + no off-site labor = no WBL Extension Required
A career counselor without the NYS WBL coordinator extension cannot be the designated supervisor or evaluator for a registered CDOS Work-Based Learning program. NYSED requires a certified WBL coordinator to oversee and evaluate student performance in registered programs, even if the site is located within the school.
