Senior Culminating Project
The Upper Dublin High School Culminating Project is a graduation requirement for all students in the Senior class prior to graduation. The purpose of the Culminating Project is to provide graduating Seniors an opportunity to apply learned skills and knowledge toward an experience that will impact their lives beyond high school and significantly enhance the meaningfulness of Senior Year.
PROJECT PROPOSALS
Projects may be either completed individually or completed in groups. Groups are limited to a maximum of FOUR seniors.
You will need a faculty adviser for your project. It is recommended that you connect with a faculty member to discuss your project idea before typing up your proposal. Your faculty adviser will need to sign your proposal before you submit it.
If your project involves working with a community member or organization (for example: Relay for Life), you will also need a sponsor connected to that organization. The outside sponsor will also sign your proposal.
PROCESS:
Step 1: Proposal Form
Choose either an individual project proposal or a group project proposal and complete the form (click text for link to form).
Type in the proposal form your answers to the prompts.
Step 2: Print and Sign
After completing your proposal, print it out and sign it
Get it signed by your parent/guardian, faculty adviser, and outside sponsor (if necessary)
Step 3: Turn in a Hard Copy
Once complete with all signatures & information, turn in the paper form to Ms. Trainor in Mr. Rehr's/Attendance office.
After you have turned this in to Ms. Trainor, you will schedule a date to present your project.
Step 4: Wait
Your proposal will be reviewed. You will be notified when approved, and then you can begin your project and logging your hours.
