ITLS is bringing together an inspiring panel of leaders who are shaping the sector from every angle. Hosted by Cecilia Warren, Deputy Chair of the ITLS Board of Advice, this event offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from women driving innovation, policy, and change across transport.

Sara is a city shaper, strategic thinker, and innovator on cities, land use, urban transport, and economics. She has worked in federal, state, and local government, and the private sector, spanning 30 years.
Manager Cycling Strategy at City of Sydney,
Fiona is responsible for the implementation of the Cycling Strategy and Action Plan across all areas of the City of Sydney Council. She manages a team working on bike planning, engagement, and behavioural change.
Senior Lecturer at UTS,
Michelle Zeibots is a transport planner, specialising in the analysis of sustainable urban passenger transport systems. Michelle combines her knowledge of more sustainable public and active (walking and cycling) transport modes as a means of reducing road traffic congestion. In 2024, Michelle’s contributions to the field were recognised as she was the first female recipient of the Engineers Australia Transport Medal.

Engineers Australia 2024 Awards
Dr, Michelle Zeibots, UTS received the 2024 Engineers Australia Transport Medal.
The Transport Medal recognises outstanding individual contributions to transport in Australia. The award is open to applicants across public and private sectors including transport operators, consultants, government, academia and researchers.
Dr. Zeibots is the first woman to receive the medal. Congratulations Dr. Zeibots!
