Project Problem/Question/Issue:

• What are the community health impacts of existing environmental conditions in the Northeast section of Wilmington, including brownfields/contaminated sites, combined sewer overflows, flooding, and conditions of the social and built environment, and of proposals to redevelop and remediate brownfields and other conditions?

Requested Deliverables:

• A health impact assessment (HIA) summarizing current and potential post-revitalization community health conditions and community engagement opportunities, for each of twelve determinants of health: social capital, crime, household economics, community economics, climate and temperature, water quality, flood management, traffic safety, urban noise, air quality, exposure to greenness, and access to goods, services, greenspace, and healthcare
