Daniel Ruiz Giraldo is a sophomore international student at the University of Delaware, pursuing a double major in Finance and Financial Planning & Wealth Management. He currently serves as the Communications Sector Head for the Blue Hen Investment Club. Beyond BHIC, Daniel is an active member of the professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, where he holds the role of Vice President of Alumni Relations. He also contributes as the Director of Events for the Private Markets Club and as a Lerner Ambassador, where he shares his experiences at UD with prospective students during panel discussions. Daniel’s passion for finance extends to his role as a lab assistant at the Geltzeiler Trading Center, where he leads scavenger hunts designed to teach students how to navigate Bloomberg and FactSet. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, running, reading, traveling, and participating in intramural sports. This summer, Daniel will join Q2 in Austin, Texas as a Finance and Investor Relations Intern. He is focused on pursuing an internship in Private Banking, Asset Management, or Wealth Management, with a long-term goal of building a career in the financial services industry.
