Synthesis is an interactive installation built around a simple tree stump that becomes the gateway to a living narrative through a continuous animation.

An augmented reality installation overlaid on a physical structure of a stump with the head of a deer placed upon it, the 3D animation will show the passage of time, from a bountiful nature scene back to a desolate cityscape, and then cycling all the way back. 

Focusing on the thematic relationship between art and technology, we believe it right to use both digital and physical mediums to highlight this ever-influential issue.
