Example of Students Final Project
On day 1, students headed straight to the lab in order to continue working on their final projects that they began working on during lab on Friday. Students developed unique ideas such as allergy detection robots, drawing robots, and desk pet robots. Students ran into several issues, however, the TAs, professors, and Johnnie helped troubleshoot, and many problems were solved. Students used new materials and tools they hadn't used before, such as the laser cutting machine, 3D printers, acrylic glue, and more. After lunch, students continued to work on their projects making lots of progress. After 6 hours in the lab, students headed back to the dorms at 4 for free time.
Instead of the usual programs that night, the COSMOS Got Talent Show was hosted, where students from several different clusters performed acts. There were many singing, dancing, and instrumental performances, and all the performances were amazing. At the end, honorable mentions and a winner were announced, bringing an end to the talent show. Once students headed back to the dorms, they began singing along the balconies, a COSMOS tradition, where students all sang karaoke together to wrap up the talent show. It was a great last first day of the week at COSMOS!

On day 2, students continued to work on their final projects for the whole day. Projects started to come together, however, students were still running into issues. Some teams struggled with downloading programming packages, others struggled with mechanical design, and others struggled with code. However, students were hard at work, even discussing their robots at lunch in order to come up with solutions!
The nightly programs included 99 Ranch Snacks, Chess and Protein Shakes, Bubbles, and a trip to the Graffiti Park. The 99 Ranch Snacks were handed out at the Garden Rooftop, where students got to each snacks and watch the sunset. at bubbles, students got to play with bubbles, eat snacks, and collect cute stickers. At the graffiti park, students actually got to do grafitti, and add to the grafitti at the park. It was a great way to end the night!

Lego and Lofi
Today was the last full day that students had to work on their projects. Students were in crunch mode in order to try and finish their projects on time. Some groups met their target goals and were aiming to complete their reach goals, while others were focused hard on reaching their target goals. However, all groups have made a lot of progress and have extremely cool robots!
The nightly programs tonight included Just Dance pt 2, Guided Meditation, Lego and Lofi, Mocktails with Alcohol Awareness Trivia, and an evening run. After nightly programs, students headed back up to the dorms and many started packing as their time as COSMOS is coming to an end.
