Causality is a fundamental concept in science and engineering. It has attracted significant attention within research communities spanning statistics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, healthcare, biology, etc. and is becoming increasingly recognized as a vital research area.

Our upcoming causality workshop at UCSD will center on two core themes: how to learn and how to use causal knowledge. This event will bring experts from related areas to introduce their latest research advancements and explore future research directions.

The workshop agenda will feature a series of invited talks covering topics such as causal discovery, causal inference, and the application of causality in AI, large models, and scientific discovery. These sessions will be interspersed with interactive discussions, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas.
