I made this piece while thinking about the vastness of space and how that reflects my feelings at this point in my coming of age story as a recent grad. Figuring out my future, specifically how to marry creative and professional ambitions makes me feel as lost and insignificant as I do when I look out into the endless black-blue of a starry night. That said, looking at the stars is also a great source of inspiration and hope of the endless possibilities of the universe, which I hope reflects the number of paths I have yet to tread. The arrangement of the photographs was also inspired by the phases of the moon, one of the most commonplace yet majestic cycles of nature, which reflects this issue's theme of transitionary periods.
