Galina Isayeva

I am a PhD candidate in political science at University of California, San Diego. My research focuses on the foreign policy of post-Soviet states. I study how domestic pressure and Russian coercion interacted to shape state alignment after the break-up of the Soviet Union.

Before beginning graduate school, I received a BS in Mathematics and a BA in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara.
