This year, UC San Diego LGBT Resource Center’s Out and Proud Series will take place April 15-26, 2024, Week 3 and 4 of Spring Quarter. We need your help to make it the best it can be!

This two-week series will consist of programming focusing on the theme “Out of the Closet into the Future” in order to bring awareness to LGBTQIA+ issues, provide an opportunity for visibility and reflections, and celebrate the many different intersecting identities that make up our community. The McNair Program provides research opportunities that help low-income, first-generation college students prepare for doctoral study in their chosen field.  McNair Scholars participate in research activities in the winter and spring quarters and receive a research stipend, campus housing and a GRE course during the 8-week Summer Research Program.
