Welcome to the Parker Lab!

Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology
University of California, Santa Cruz

We study a range of questions at the intersection of ecology and evolution, embracing both basic and applied systems. Much of our research is focused on understanding the causes, consequences, and dynamics of biological invasions as an agent of global change, especially the effects of species interactions (e.g., herbivory, disease, pollination, and microbial mutualisms) on plant invasions.

Our lab is accepting graduate students and postdoctoral researchers through the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department at UC Santa Cruz.

For UCSC undergrads: please fill out our Parker Lab Volunteer Form if you are interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities in the lab, see the Teaching page for more information about getting into a course, and review the Recommendation Letters page if you are thinking about asking for a letter of recommendation.
