Call for meditation leaders

Campus meditation sessions have been offered over the lunch hour for the past five years by a grass-roots group of qualified volunteers. We are interested in adding additional meditation leaders to ensure several sessions each week can continue to be offered in future academic years. We invite you to join us in providing these sessions, which are open to all in our campus community.

If you are interested, please contact Scott Campbell (scamp@ucsc.edu) to discuss being a session leader. Our leader guidelines include the following:

a) you are an experienced meditator, with a current, regular daily practice

b) you have experience, and instruction, in leading meditation sessions

c) you understand and commit to keeping the campus practice secular. This is not a platform to teach about one's spiritual practice.

d) you agree to pair up, and coordinate, with another volunteer leader in order to be able to back each other up for coverage
