🐌

olá! i am a 3rd-year phd student in the latin american and latino studies program at ucsc, originally from porto alegre, in southern brazil.

my research interests contemplate black geographies, marronage, and black political mobilizations in the américas, with a special focus on women leading quilombola communities in brazil's urban south.

🤓📚🗣️ in my free time, i'm usually obsessing over my duolingo streak.
