🐌
olá! i am a 3rd-year phd student in the latin american and latino studies program at ucsc, originally from porto alegre, in southern brazil.
my research interests contemplate black geographies, marronage, and land-based mobilizations in the américas, with a special focus on women leading quilombola communities in brazil's urban south.
🤓📚🗣️ in my free time, i'm usually obsessing over my duolingo streak.
