I began a PhD in Statistics at the University of California, Santa Cruz after completing my B.S. in Applied Mathematics (2023) and M.S. in Statistics (2024) at UCSC. After spending time in the program, I chose to step away to pursue opportunities in Major League Baseball. Since December 2024, I’ve worked in Baseball Operations with the Detroit Tigers, first as an associate and now as a full-time analyst.

My academic research focus is the intersection of sports analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning, with a focus on Bayesian inference. To see some of the work I've done in school so far, check out my Research and Projects page. My Github page is linked below.

Working with the Tigers allows me to explore the use of Statistics towards data-driven decision-making in a professional sports setting. It's been a lifelong goal of mine to make an impact in industry, and then give that experience back to the next generation through teaching and mentorship. Always happy to connect with and learn from others in this space, feel free to reach out via my Email or LinkedIn below.
