Team Roles
To tackle this project our team is broken down into the following subgroups. Samuel and Alexandria will be developing embedded C code to run on the PIC32 Microcontroller to enable the robot to navigate the course and complete the challenge. Tony and Samuel will be creating the necessary electrical system designs for various components on the robot such as beacon detectors and track wire detectors. Alexandria and Tony form the CAD team and will create a full simulation schematic of the robot in SolidWorks after which acrylic parts will be fabricated using a laser cutter.
