CV

I am currently a visiting assistant professor at UC Riverside. I was born in China. I received my PhD in Applied Mathematics at City University of Hong Kong in 2013, under the supervision of Prof. Hui-Hui Dai. Then I worked as a postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Roderick Wong and Prof. Hui-Hui Dai for three years. Since 2016, I have been working with Prof. Huaxiong Huang and Prof. Jianhong Wu at York University and Fields Institute.

My research has revolved around two overarching themes: asymptotic method and PDEs in interdisciplinary areas. On the one hand, I am interested in problems involving a small or large parameter, and on the other, I am also interested multi-physics/multi-field problems. I love discussion with researchers from various backgrounds. I have been teaching undergraduate courses at York University and UC Riverside. I love sharing ideas with students and motivating their independent thinking.
