Dr. Zhang's research focuses on photochemistry of small gas-phase molecules and free radicals, high-temperature reaction mechanisms of hydrocarbon fuels and chemical vapor deposition precursors, atmospheric chemical reaction mechanisms, analytical instrumentation development, and air pollutant measurements.
