The 19th Southern California Flow Physics Symposium (SoCal Fluids XIX) will be held at UC Riverside on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
This conference aims to bring together researchers from universities throughout Southern California, working in all areas of fluid dynamics, for a one-day exchange of ideas in an informal and collaborative atmosphere.
To promote education and exposure, talks are invited from graduate students and postdocs, as well as from undergraduates who have been pursuing research. Faculty and undergraduate students are highly encouraged to attend. All universities in Southern California are welcome to participate.

Workshop for early-career researchers
There is a special Q&A session for early-career researchers from 12:45 pm - 1:45 pm, hosted by Dr. Kenneth Granlund, Program Manager at the Army Research Office. Details are in the program. If you would like to attending this workshop, please indicate your interest here.

Note that parking is free in Lot 6, but attendees must register their vehicle to obtain a free permit before the event.

Contributed talks are limited to 10 minutes with 2 additional minutes for questions and discussion. This is followed by 1 minute for transition to the next talk and introduction of the next speaker.
