Hello! I am Shamima Hossain, Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of Computer Science of the University of California, Riverside. I am a math enthusiast and problem-solver deeply interested in qualitative research methods. My research focuses on developing efficient algorithms, integrating optimization and data mining techniques to address complex challenges in cyber-physical systems (CPS) with direct implications for human health and food security. Specifically, I design scalable methods for modeling, analyzing, and controlling CPS to enhance system efficiency, robustness, and adaptability in real-world environments with applications in agricultural systems such as beekeeping and pollinator preservation.
