Ian Chaffey graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a Ph.D. in Physics. His research primarily concerns phenomenologically motived models of new physics. He primarily focuses on the particle nature of dark matter and how its effects can be observed in particle and astro-particle experiments. He is particularly interested in the phenomenological impact of self-interacting dark matter. Recently his research has focused on the phenomenology of a warped extra dimension and its impact on models of dark matter.
