Welcome to DPERL!

The Dionne Publicly Engaged Research Lab (DPERL) is a political science research laboratory at the University of California Riverside.

Under Professor Kim Yi Dionne's mentorship, both graduate and undergraduate students have engaged in research studying questions about democracy, development, and health, with a focus on African politics. For example, recent projects examined: COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy in Malawi, disaster politics in southern Africa, and judicial independence in Africa.
