Biography
Received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Colima, Colima, Mexico, in 2004, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in electrical engineering from CINVESTAV, Guadalajara, Mexico, in 2006 and 2010, respectively. From 2010–2017, he held different teaching positions with the Technological University of Manzanillo, Mexico. From 2008–2009, he was a Visiting Student with the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, and a Postdoctoral. Fellow from 2011–2012, working on smart grid topics. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Colima, in 2017, as a Full-Time Professor. His research interests include modeling, simulation, control, stability in power systems, and smart homes. Engineering teaching issues with the use of Augmented-Virtual-Mixed reality.
