Ahmed Abdalaal, PhD.
23 years of experience working in ICT sector in collaboration with international organizations، NGOs and UN agencies. This includes proposal writing, needs assessment, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation as well as experience in community development and building donor relations.
Abdalaal is the coordinator of BITPAL project, co-funded with support from the European Commission under the ERASMUS+ European program. He is the Founder of UCAS Oracle Academy. He was the manager of Python4HS project, funded by Google’s CS4HS grant program. Also He works as a consultant and a reviewer for the Quality Improvement Fund project and the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission in Palestine. He is a member of the steering committee of Open Book Project, the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific (ALECSO), Tunisia. Also a member of the PAC at the TVET/ Enhancing Youth Employability Project. Islamic Relief, Palestine. As well as a member of the steering committee of Ibhath Project, Qatar Charity. He was a local coordinator of Erasmus Mundus University II project, European mobility program leaded by VUB, Brussels, Belgium. He is a faculty member in University College of Applied Sciences – Gaza.
Abdalaal received the PhD degree in Computer Engineering from Sabanci University, Istanbul in 2012, MA degree in Computer Science from VUB, Brussels in 2006 and the BS degree in Computer Engineering from IUG, Gaza in 2001.
2020 - 2023 : Team member of Palib project, co-funded with support from the European Commission under the ERASMUS+ European program.
2016 - 2019 : Coordinator of BITPAL project, co-funded with support from the European Commission under the ERASMUS+ European program.
