About me

I received the B.S. degree in telecommunications engineer and the M.S. degree in telecommunication technologies, from the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, Murcia, in 2006 and 2008, respectively and the Ph.D. degree in telecommunications from the Universitat Politècnica de València, Valencia, Spain, in 2012.

Now, I am working as Associate Professor at the Polytechnic Science Department in the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia. I am teaching several lectures such as fundamental of acoustics, room acoustics and electronic systems.

My interests include wireless sensor networks, internet of things, smart cities, room acoustics simulation, 3D spatial audio. My research is focused on signal processing algorithms for audio and acoustics within the topic of Smart Cities and IoT, where I have published more than 30 technical papers in international journals and conferences.

In 2009, I was an invited researcher at Acoustic Technology, Technical University of Denmark, in 2012 at the Department of Media Technology, Aalto University of Finland, and in 2017 at Building Performance Department, Technical University of Eindhoven.
