I am an Assistant Professor of Writing at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). I also serve as the Assistant Coordinator for UCA's first-year writing program. I teach courses in first-year writing, technical writing, composition theory & pedagogy, and research methods. My research interests explore the intersections of writing program administration, composition pedagogy, and student retention.

I received my Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition from Georgia State University in 2017 and my M.A. in Writing from Nova Southeastern University in 2013.
