Syllabus

Upon completion of the course, students are:

• able to discuss their study program, their plans for the future and their work.
• able to find information in English on the Internet and in databases and motivate their choices critically
• able to read scientific text in English as well as to write summaries of texts
• able to present themselves and their subject knowledge verbally and in writing in appropriate style

Content

• Reading of scientific text, use of Internet-based resources, oral and written presentation, referencing, critical evaluation of sources, use of visual elements in communication.
