Problem
This cycle we were taken aback by how many students were not turning in assignments. When a student doesn’t attempt an assignment it has a significant impact on their overall score in the class.
Hypothesis
If students are given project based assessments then more students will turn in the assessments as measured by turn in rates.
Target group
The target group I chose was E band because it is the most diverse set of learners in each of my sections. Many students are struggling with engagement and turning things in.

Very simply. I measured success by the turn in rate. Did they turn it in? Success.

completing tasks in class makes all of the difference. In fact, we had the best turn in rates when we completed the whole class in class.
