"The most valuable lesson I gained from my work experience was how to grow both technically and professionally in a real-world environment and how these skills have a lasting impact. I gained hands-on experience with various software and technical processes, but more importantly, I learned how to collaborate, adapt to office dynamics, and communicate effectively with my team. This experience taught me the importance of continually improving my technical skills while also building my confidence as a professional. With the guidance and mentorship of my team, I’ve made significant progress in both my technical abilities and professional growth."
Parker is a third-year student majoring in Political Science. She completed a work term as the Work-Integrated Learning Programs Support Intern and is currently working as the Experiential Learning Co-op Student with the Careers and Work Integrated Learning office at the Alberta School of Business.
