What was the most challenging part of your work experience and how did you overcome this challenge?

“The most challenging part for me was acclimating to the office environment. For me and many other students, getting a job with AWE will be the first full-time position in a work environment that isn't familiar to them. What I would tell students to keep in mind is that it will get easier with time (even when you truly think it won't) and you are not expected to know everything as soon as you start a new job.”

AJ is a 4th year Linguistic Major, currently on an Arts Work Experience  term with the Faculty of Arts as the International Student Engagement Intern.
