Hi! Thanks for visiting my website.

I am a PhD candidate in Agricultural & Resource Economics at the University of Alberta, a consultant with The World Bank, and a Doctoral Fellow at the Canadian Agri-Food Policy Institute (CAPI). My research explores how infrastructure and access to factor markets shape structural transformation in low-income countries, with a focus on policy-relevant, data-driven analysis. 

Prior to my PhD, I completed an MSc in Economics at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and an MSc in Agricultural & Resource Economics at the University of Bonn. I also hold an MSc and a BA in Economics from Addis Ababa University.

I will be on the 2025/26 Job Market.
