Katya Pulido Díaz, DDS., Ph.D is a Titular Professor of Oral Pathology at the Autonomous University of Baja California/Faculty of Health Sciencies in Baja California, Mexico. She received her PhD degree from University of Campinas, Brazil, in Stomatopathology (2014). She has experience salivary gland disease and its cytopathology. Currently, her research work is focused on salivary gland tumors and oral diseases in HIV, in collaboration with other colleagues from important institutions in Mexico and Brazil. She is a member of the Mexican Association of Oral Pathology and Medicine and has published various research papers on these tumors and other oral lesions.
