Mandatory Annual Trainings
Each year all Washington Central Unified Union School District employees are required to participate in trainings about the following subjects:
- Act One: Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse
- Bloodborne Pathogens and Universal Precautions
- Confidentiality and FERPA
- Harassment, Hazing and Bullying
- Mandated Reporting to DCF
- Rule 4500: Seclusion and Restraint
- Safe and Drug-Free Schools
In 2019-2020, WCUUSD employees are also required to participate in trainings about:

For 2019-2020 principals will work with their respective faculties and staffs to determine which resources they will access in order to engage in professional learning about each topic.
All employees must complete trainings about all topics.
Upon completion of the training about the first 7 topics, employees must complete a brief quiz about the topic. There are no quizzes about the WCUUSD policies or the Curriculum Camp updates.
Additionally, upon completion of all quizzes, employees must complete an attestation of their completion of the trainings and knowledge of their responsibilities. The link to the attestation is here.
After participating in these trainings, please see your principal or supervisor if you have further questions or concerns.
All employees are required to complete these trainings no later than Monday, September 9, 2019.
