12. Write Your Conclusion

You are now ready to write your conclusion. Your intro is finished. Your body paragraphs are complete, including your claims, supporting details, and the evidence you used.

Now, the conclusion should summarize your argument and re-emphasize your thesis statement that was in your intro paragraph.

Conclusion

Restate Main Idea: Who is guilty? Assign the blame.
Summarize main points: Topic sentence of body paragraphs. Restate in a different way.
Concluding Statement: Bring it all together and "put a bow on it."
