Preview of the Course Learning Objectives:

  • Demonstrates the ability to select and use technological resources and processes to support student learning and to enhance their pedagogy.
  • Design, develop, implement, and evaluate technology-rich learning environments within a supportive community of practice.
  • Apply formal inquiry strategies in assessing and evaluating processes and resources for learning and performance.
  • Design and implement assessment and evaluation plans that align with learning goals and instructional activities.
  • Navigate the G-Suite and transfer the skills from one aspect (such as docs) to another such as sharing a slideshow with someone.
  • Identify within 80% ways to modify instruction to be more accessible to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Use technology tools to assess student work and provide immediate feedback to students.

Molly McLoughlin-- Digital Literacy & Computer Science Coordinator at Northampton Public Schools in Northampton, Massachusetts

Molly comes from a background of working in Apple Retail before moving back into education as a Tech Integration Specialist for 5 years and a district coordinator of technology integration for 3 years. Her formal education is in education both in the arts and Special Education and she takes this knowledge into the course to support all learners in both visual and differentiated ways.
