This is Brittany Bier, director of site 1 Giraffe Laugh daycare and early learning center.
She requested to have a sensory board for help in exposing stimuli to the children. This is to develop language and fine motor skills, as well as helping children who have disabilities. Sensory boards can also be used to teach problem solving, and teach related skills, as well as help with memory, learn about the different senses and calm the children.
