Goals

• Cut final acrylic for Sector 1

  • Roll into shape with heat gun 

  • Start making flat pattern for test chamber door

  • Roll into shape

• Cut out wooden rings for rolling acrylic on CNC or laser cutter

  • Use 1/4 in plywood for strength and stacking/sandwich method

Elijah

• Cut rings out of cardboard because couldn't use CNC (testing going on)

  • Used this to fit into project and see if size would be correct

• Decided to test the tolerance to see which would fit the dowels correctly

  • Also cut on laser cutter and found line to line was good

• Cut final pattern out on the laser cutter out of scrap wood

  • Glued dowels into to make the mold for rolling the acrylic

  • Used the heat gun to do this

  • Found that we will need a lot more rings and a better setup to roll the acrylic

• Start creating smoke module 

  • Develop housing for mister

  • Test mister to see smoke output volume
