巡る間（2023〜）／Circularity Cabin（since 2023）
Circularity is in a local city in Japan. The front road may be widened and if this happens, CH is destined to be demolished before it reaches the end of its life.The idea was to build wooden houses that can be easily dismantled and rebuilt.The houses are built using only standard timber distributed in Japan and secured with bolts only, so no special skills are required for dismantling and rebuilding. Also, all components are heavy enough to be carried by hand. Even if the house is not rebuilt, the standard timber can be used as a structure or finishing material for another building without becoming waste.Circularity is to take into account the democratization of technology and the circularity of materials.
巡る間は、日本の地方都市に建つ住宅です。前面道路が拡幅される可能性があり、そうなった場合は建築物が寿命を迎えるより先に解体される運命にあります。そこで考えたのは、簡単に解体でき、再建築可能な木造住宅です。日本で流通している規格木材のみを用い、ボルトのみで固定をしているので、解体・再建築の際に特別な技術は必要ありません。また部材も全て人が手で運べる重さです。もし万が一再建築しなくても、規格木材を用いているので、別の建築物の構造体や仕上げ材としてゴミにならずにそのまま利用可能です。巡る間は、技術の民主化と物質の循環に配慮をした住宅となっています。
