Recognition badges are a great way to encourage, recognize, and reward staff members! These badges can be for anything ranging from completed milestones, to a quick shoutout for being helpful. This guide reviews how to award a recognition in Paylocity.
Log in to Paylocity
Navigate to the HR & Payroll module in the sidebar
Hover over the HR heading in the top menu bar
Select Recognition & Rewards
Click on the orange Give Recognition button in the top right corner.
Select the Recognition Type from the available list. The selected badge displays a default title and comments.
Type the name(s) of the recipient(s) in the Recipient(s) field.
Choose whether the Recognition will be Visible to Everyone, which means it will show up on the Community feed.
Customize the comment in the Comments field.
Click Send.
