This guide reviews how to set or update a center's schedule on the Math Made Simple platform. This includes initial setup, making edits or changes to a schedule, as well as adding schedule exceptions for closures.
This can be located on the left-hand side menu
The dropdown menu may not appear if you are only assigned one center
This can be located near the top of the page
Reach out to your District Director if your location does not appear on the list
Adjust Default Minimum Kids
This will determine the minimum number of students that can be scheduled, even if instructors are not scheduled for that time
Recommended value of 4
Adjust Maximum Kids at One Time
This determines the maximum amount of students that can be scheduled at any given time
Recommended value depends on size of center and number of concurrent instructors
Adjust Default Ratio
This determines the default Student/Instructor ratio for each instructor scheduled
Each instructor can have a seperate Student/Instructor ratio scheduled for them. This setting only sets the default value.
Recommended value of 4
Adjust Max Appointments per Day
This determines the total number of appointments a student can be scheduled per day
Recommended value of 1
Adjust Appointment Frequency
This determines the length of time for appointment scheduling
Recommended value of 15 or 30 minutes
Click Save Settings to save settings
Default Settings determine the default hours that your center will be open
Go through each day and schedule based on your center's instructional hours
Select if center is closed or not
Add time intervals for each day
Determine the day the schedule should go into effect
This can be set into the future for schedule changes
Click Save New Defaults to save settings
Go to Add/Edit Override at the bottom of the page
Select the Date of the override
Set the desired schedule for that particular day
Click Save Override to save overide
Overrides can be edited and deleted in Current Overrides on the same page
