The cash log is an important tool to help us keep up with cash and money order payments in our cash bag. Anytime cash or money orders are added or taken from the cash bag you will need to update the cash log. This guide reviews how to update the cash log.
Navigate to the CD Dashboard linked above
Click the Log Cash Transaction button!
Fill out the Cashlog Entry form with the correct information
If the payment has not yet been recorded in Radius, follow the Making a One-Time Payment guide linked above to do so
Go to your Center Information Spreadsheet and locate the Cash Log tab
Check the total amount box near the top
Count the money in your Cash Bag and make sure the number matches
If the numbers DO NOT match, a mistake was made and needs to be corrected
Make sure you have not forgotten to fill out a Cashlog Entry for previously made payments
You may have also taken money out of the bag without filling a Cashlog Entry
Money may have been taken by a member of the Executive Team. Double check with them to see if they have made recent adjustments
