Welcome to Texas Deaf Chamber of Commerce's initial website (permanent website is being developed). The 501c6 member non-profit organization was established in 2019 by members of the Deaf business community with following purposes:
Serve as a community voice for Deaf-owned businesses
Advocate for the creation of a firm economic base and civic climate supporting Deaf-owned businesses
Create financial opportunities for the growth and stability of Deaf-owned businesses
Promote development and support of deaf businesses through greater access to market opportunities and capital
Foster entrepreneurial development through workshops and training
Collaborate with coalitions supporting public recognition and political influence among deaf business owners
Monitor pending legislation that may affect business ownership, business growth, and business activities.
We are currently busy developing programs while looking for business/organization members, partners, and sponsors who shares the same vision and passion for the Texas Deaf community. There are great opportunities to reach and support a network of businesses and people as we are building resources and benefits for our members and the community.
