This week's news:
Thank you for your generous donations this morning for Comic Relief - we have collected £198.44 today (this includes the cake sale) which is absolutely amazing. The children have enjoyed a fun-filled day today! Next week, Mrs Bowen will be selling raffle tickets for our PTFA Easter Raffle! Tickets will be £1 each and the raffle will be drawn on Thursday. There are 2 lovely Easter hampers to be won! Tickets are on sale before and after school on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and also Thursday morning.
Please note that we are in the Ofsted Inspection 'window' and we are expecting them to visit us in the coming weeks or months. They will telephone us to inform us the day before their visit and at that point we will send you further information including a parental survey that they will ask to be completed. As a team, we are looking forward to this long-awaited visit so that we can share all of the school's successes and excellent practice - we are extremely confident that it will be a successful inspection.
Congratulations this week go to...

On Tuesday 12th, Vienna, Teddy, Amelia, Stephanie, Tom and Millie went to compete in a netball district cup. We played Tirlebrook, Carrant Brook and Tewkesbury C of E. In our first game we scored 2 and Tirlebrook scored 3.Then we played CofE and drew. We went through to the semis where Carrant Brook beat us. Then we played Tirlebrook again where the score was 3-4. Carrant Brook were the overall winners. Mrs Mulligan said we really improved throughout the tournament. Overall we placed 4th out of 7 schools. Thank you to Mrs Mulligan for taking us.

Our PTFA are busy organising some wonderful events for next term. Please see the posters below, and the noticeboard on the playground for further details. So far, they are organising a Bingo Night and a Jumble Sale... We are very much looking forward to these events!
Dont forget to enter award-winning author Danielle Seater's competition! She visited us last week and talked to the children about her book 'Oceans Away'. Good luck! Also, here is a link to buy her books if required - a number of children asked where they could buy the books! eco-able.co.uk/eco-childrens-books/
School Council would like to hold a cake and plant sale after the Easter holidays so if you are out in your gardens this Easter, please could you start collecting some cutting and seedlings for our sale.
Many thanks
