Emergency Scholarships
Emergency Scholarships are now available to current and admitted students. TRCA's Board of Directors worked to secure special, one-time funding that has been earmarked to assist families impacted by the recent COVID shutdowns.
We have worked to create a tuition plan that is as affordable and transparent as possible (e.g., we don't shift costs between families or students via scholarships or discounts). While our long-term vision is to provide an ongoing scholarship program through regular donations, we have this opportunity to provide an immediate source of help to TRCA families and students who may struggle with tuition payments as a result of the COVID shutdowns. This assistance is provided in the form of tuition scholarships that lower the coming year's tuition payments.
Generally, the Board has set the following priorities for allocating scholarship funds:
First, to current TRCA students that need to maintain a consistent educational experience; and
Second, to new students already applied and accepted for the coming year.
To request an Emergency Scholarship, please send an email to Andy Karas (akaras@TwoRiversClassical.org) with the following:
Describe how the COVID shutdowns impacted your work/business and your family budget.
List the total amount of your total TRCA tuition this year and the scholarship amount you are now requesting.
The scholarship funds may be requested throughout the 2020-21 academic year or until all the funds are awarded (whichever comes first).
This information will be provided (without your name) to a committee of the Board of Directors, which will allocate scholarship funds at its discretion. You will be notified of the committee's decision within two weeks.
