Ms. Paule's Counselor Corner
Groups Start Wednesday, May 3rd!
Hello Students, this is your last chance to participate in one of my small groups. I am offering a small group on mindfulness, anger management, a girls group, and dealing with grief and loss. If you are interested, please contact me! Groups are starting this Wednesday! Let me know ASAP if you would like to participate.
April's Character Trait is Fairness
My lessons for the month of April will be focused on the character trait of the month, Fairness and also incorporating the monthly theme of emotional regulation. Students were introduced to the Zones of Regulation in January. Mini colored buckets will be used by teachers for students to quickly check in to let their teacher know how they are feeling. I'm so excited to see how teachers and students like the Zones of Regulation buckets and posters.
National School Counseling Week: February 1-5, 2021
Thank you to the students in Mrs. Vitone's class who made me beautiful posters for National School Counseling Week! I love them! What a wonderful surprise and gift!
Families, I am here for you! We all have been doing our best to stay afloat during Distance Learning and I understand that there may be times when we just need to take a moment to breathe. I have included my wellness office below to help when you need a moment to practice mindfulness. Please take a look at the google slide below to find out how school counselors can help! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions and or concerns, or just to say hello.
Great Kindness Challenge Week January 25-29, 2021
This week our Roadrunners are participating in the Great Kindness Challenge which is a nationwide program. Students were encouraged to participate in various spirit dress up days and activities. Here we see Kindness Posters. Next month, our character trait is Kindness.
February Character Trait: Kindness
Please enjoy the Kindness Office below. We started the year with bucket filling, and we continue to learn how to be kind to others. Our Northwood Roadrunners are the best!

Happy 2021 Everyone! Let's All Continue to Take Care of Ourselves and Always Keep Moving Forward and Never Give Up Hope!
Hi Students and Families,
I can't wait to see you in person! I am so excited to be seeing many of you back on campus when we return from Spring Break on April 6th! I know that we had a long year of distance learning, but you persevered and kept on logging into your teacher's zoom and did not give up!
Students, if you would like to see me, I do need parent consent. We are all in this together, and we can continue to make our school year the best one yet! I can't wait to see how much you all have grown since I last saw you! I wonder how many of you are now taller than me. :)
Love, Ms. Paule
Students, the TRUSD K-8 Counselors are here for you!
