CCAA K- 6 School Counseling
Hello and welcome to the 2021-2022 Creative Connections Arts Academy school year. For those of you that are new to our campus this year, my name is Mrs. Zapien and this is my 5th year as the School Counselor at the Elementary Campus. Here, you will find an array of different resources in relation to academics, social/emotional learning, coping skills, mindfulness, career and college readiness, empathy, bullying awareness, digital citizenship and spreading kindness. Feel free to explore and click around. It'll take you to some cool, calming activities.
As the Elementary School Counselor, my goal is to provide a safe, accepting, and positive school environment where all Dragons can S.O.A.R. in order to be the best they can be! I hope you'll visit my site often as I'll be updating it quite frequently. We cannot thank our teachers, amazing teachers and staff, parents, and community members enough for all their support, determination, and flexibility. Talk about being resilient! Stay safe and most importantly, stay healthy. I can't wait to see you all physically on campus.
Mrs. Zapien, CCAA Elementary School Counselor
Do students still have questions about COVID-19?
It is a hard subject to understand, even harder to explain. This handout offers great guidance as to how you can explain to your children what is Coronavirus (Covid-19), the impact it's having on their education, and what we can do about it now.

Let's Spread KIndness!
Let your community know you are thinking of them. We are in this together! Happy Heart Hunting!
Delivery drivers are working extra hard to ensure we have the products we need during this COVID-19 social distancing. They are out there every day making sure all our packages get delivered. Thank them by leaving them a basket filled with goodies (where they can choose one to take along on their trip) along with a gratitude note.
