Purpose - to have kids learn to play classic card games, hopefully get them off technology and take what they learned and teach their friends and families.

Are you a 3rd or a 4th grader? Do you enjoy gardening and getting your hands dirty? Then the Green Thumb Club is for you! Join Mrs. Lewis before school every Wednesday from 8:00 – 9:00 am to grow some beautiful things! We will spend 6 weeks doing a variety of garden projects! Make sure you dress appropriately and plan on meeting rain or shine. If there is rainy weather, an indoor activity will be planned. So get ready to get those hands dirty! Return those forms ASAP! We can only take 6 lucky gardeners!

Do you love to imagine, design and create?
Makerspace Club will give students the opportunity to explore their creative ideas while utilizing the materials in our classroom art centers: drawing, painting, sculpture, fiber arts and collage. Students will be tasked with design challenges that they can respond to in their own unique way.

Students will have the opportunity to learn about sports like cross country and track and field. Students should come prepared to do lots running each meeting, so please wear comfortable clothing and sneakers.
Students will experience what a typical cross country and track and field practice is like. This will include warm-ups, workouts, and track events like hurdles, relays, throws and more. We will utilize our Freelap timing system as well.

Students will have the opportunity to explore robotics and programming while learning how it works. Students may also choose to plan and create a project.

Does the thought of learning how to grow your own food excite you? If so, you should join Mrs. Lerch’s Vegetable Club. You will learn about growing vegetables from seed, container gardening, organic pest control to keep your plants healthy, explore companion planting strategies, and how to make homemade recipes using vegetables.
