We were founded in 1856 as a teachers college and while we still have a renowned teaching/education program, we also have over 50 majors and minors for our students to choose from within our College of Education, College of Liberal Arts and Science, and pre-professional studies. Notable programs include Business, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Computer Science, Exercise Science, Biology, Pre-Nursing, American Sign Language Studies and English Interpreting: Theory.
