Hello Kindergarten Friends!
Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Mrs. Skates and I am very excited to be your teacher this year! I graduated from the University of Florida with a Masters in Education (Go Gators!) This is my 28th year of teaching and my 17th year here at VCS. My husband, Jeff, and I have 2 daughters, Kaley (28) and Graylin (20). We have one dog named Willie (4). Now that you know a little bit about me, I can’t wait to meet you and begin a fun-filled year together.
Important Dates
August 3rd: Orientation 11:00-1:00 or 4:00-6:00
*If possible, please bring student supplies to orientation.
August 5th: First day of school
August 18th: School picture day
